Cuts and scrapes happen! And when they do, it's important to ensure that they are cleaned properly and don't become infected. We can assess and prescribe proper medication if needed.

What to know before your visit

Patients with the following may be directed to another health care provider:

  • Abscesses
  • Injuries on the head, face or eyes
  • Wounds requiring stitches or staples
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Any animal wound other than minor dog or cat scratches
  • Puncture wounds

What to expect at your visit

  1. Sign in at the electronic kiosk to see a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.* No appointment necessary.
  2. Your practitioner will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, conduct an examination of the area and provide a personalized treatment plan, which may include medications.
  3. Your practitioner may conduct needed testing. Please note that additional charges apply for these tests. Visit our Price List for these fees.
  4. At the end of your visit, your practitioner will provide you with a summary, a receipt and educational material.
  5. The summary of your visit can be sent to your primary care provider with your permission.
