Impetigo

About this service

Impetigo is one of the most common skin conditions in children, although adults can also get it. It’s caused by bacteria, with red sores usually on the mouth, nose, hands or diaper area. Impetigo is very contagious, so it is important not to scratch and spread it. Our practitioners can assess and treat with antibiotic creams or medications.

†If medically appropriate, practitioners may write a prescription.
