About this service
Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that causes thick, red scaly patches on your skin. Although psoriasis patches can appear anywhere on your body, they typically appear on elbows, knees, face, hands, feet, nails or scalp. There are five different types of psoriasis. The most common are plaque and guttate psoriasis. Other types are inverse, pustular and erythrodermic.
There is no cure for psoriasis. Treatments may provide relief of your symptoms. We can evaluate your symptoms and, where medically appropriate, recommend the right combination of remedies and treatments including over-the-counter products and prescription medication to help you get the best results.
