Take CVS Health Esomeprazole Magnesium Delayed-Release Capsules to help treat your frequent heartburn. This acid-reducer is a clinically proven heartburn medication that can help to treat the symptoms of heartburn for up to 24 hours. These capsules are easy to swallow and provides you with relief support when taken per the package dosing instructions or as directed by your healthcare provider. Frequent heartburn occurs when you experience the symptoms of heartburn two days or more per week. This product may take one to four days to feel the full effect and is not intended for immediate relief. Do not exceed one dose per day for 14 days, or repeat courses more frequently than every 4 months, unless directed to do so by a healthcare provider. These capsules are gluten-free, and each contains an ingredient called esomeprazole magnesium, an acid reducer that suppresses the acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining. It inhibits acid production at the source to help you continue to enjoy eating the things you love without worrying about heartburn getting in the way. Take it daily for up to 14 days as recommended to get relief support from the pain and discomfort associated with frequent heartburn. Allergy alert: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole. These may be signs of a serious condition. See your doctor. Do not use if you have:
Trouble or pain swallowing food, vomiting with blood, or bloody or black stool
Heartburn with lightheadedness, sweating or dizziness
Chest pain or should pain with shortness of breath; pain spreading to arms, neck or shoulders; or lightheadedness
Frequent chest pain
Stop use and ask a doctor if
Your heartburn continues or worsens
You need to take this product for more than 14 days
You need to take more than 1 course of treatment every 4 months
You get diarrhea
