Campho-Phenique Cold Sore Gel Original is a topical gel that provides temporary relief from pain and itching. It also helps with the prevention of infection associated with external cold sores and fever blisters. It is formulated with camphor and phenol, which work together to numb the pain and itchiness of a cold sore, while also helping to prevent infection. The gel is also non-greasy and easy to apply. A favorite for cold sore and fever blister treatment for lips for over 130 years
Formulated with camphor and phenol to temporarily inactivate the pain signals at the nerve endings in the skin to provide a local anesthetic (numbing effect) that stops the pain and itch of cold sores and fever blisters on contact

Aloe soothes and mositurizes, preventing dryness and cracking as cold sores and fever blisters dry out

Adults and children 2 years of age and over: clean the affected area, apply a small amount of this product to the cold sore or fever blister 1 to 3 times daily. Do not bandage. Children under 2 years of age, ask a doctor.

For external use only. Do not use over large areas of the body or with a bandage. Ask a doctor before use if you have a deep or puncture wound, animal bites, or serious burns. When using this product do not use in or near the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water and obtain medical attention. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days.
