CVS® and local law enforcement made a difference together
From 2014 through 2022, CVS Pharmacy® partnered with local law enforcement agencies to remove more than 1 million pounds of unwanted and expired medications from U.S. households.

CVS Pharmacy would like to thank all of our law enforcement partners for their participation in our Medication Disposal for Safer Communities initiative. Together we have made a meaningful impact in communities across the U.S.!
Since 2014, The CVS Medication Disposal for Safer Communities Team has proudly donated over 1,075 drug disposal collection units to our local law enforcement partners. Through this initiative and partnership, we have safely removed over 1 million pounds of unwanted or expired medications.
