They absorb nicely and I'm always fresh, I normally can almost go with one pad at night but sometimes I need two. They used to work so well. Now they are thinner. The hold up to their name

I had protection that lasted all day and yet I didnt feel uncomfortable and bothered by it because my pad wasnt bulky or causing me stress about it leaking.
